  Re: new part description changes?

(...) The new part, 32059, doesn't go with the other parts in the Wedge category. All of the wedges feature at least one side which is angled across 1x3 studs. 32059 has sides angled across 1x2 studs. There are several types of angle-sided plates in (...) (...) That's a really great idea! It's obvious you're pretty experienced with LDraw. I'll do the changes when I get home. Fredrik (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Voting Comments

(...) You are indeed correct, yes. Thanks a lot. I took the time to "brush up" the surface around the axle holes as well. I believe the current solution is a better one; I no longer use partially overlapping 2-4rings to cover the surface. The part (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Voting Page  [DAT]

I've noticed an error in part #30250, that was named "Brick 2 x 4 x 3 Notched with Side 5 x 4 Plate" during the vote. Four box5.dat primitives have been used to form "friction rims" at the under/inside of the part, but they are not properly rotated. (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

jonathan wilson wrote in message ... (...) No, no more "space" required I think. A generic category like "bar" would be nicer. But I admit that there is no simple definition for "bar" category for this part like "space gun 1x8" Selçuk (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Piece needed to finish MOC Naboo Fighter

(...) Yes, someone *please* do this. It has been on my wish list for ages. One of those "I can't believe it hasn't been done" pieces. (1) -- Terry K -- 1. FYI, the piece does exist in Lutz's L2P. (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Part 2429

Piece needed to finish MOC Naboo Fighter

I wasn't at all pleased with the Naboo Fighter set, so I redesigned it to more closely match the movie ship. I've finished the Ldraw File, but I'm missing one piece... I know it has been asked for before, but I don't remember if anybody ever (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Suggestion for part authors

  Re: Part Name Question

(...) Now that I think about it, it probably isn't necessary. I had a hard time positioning things on the end using John's mock-up, but I just realized it was probably because he was using one of the 'stud' primitives. So, Nevermind. ;) Jeff (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Part Name Question

(...) Hadn't thought about that. Is it that important to view a stud instead of a line in LEdit? Seems like this piece has a 'normal geometry', so that it wouldn't make sense to defeat the line-as-stud option. (...) Yes. Steve (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Suggestion for part authors

Just thought I'd mention that the wireframe view in LDLite is a great tool for part authors to check the edge lines and conditional lines in their parts before submission. Edge line omissions are usually much more obvious in this view, so take a (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
