yeah, i use UltraEdit 5 for all my text editing, it has some sweet search and
replace options... it also has "column mode" where you can edit standard text
files and make selections in area blocks rather than line "wraps".. everyone
should check it out.. if not for .DAT's, then for other text editing needs..
