There are part creation tips in the Ldraw FAQ, but a specific tutorial does not exist. To directly answer your question, a quad takes the form: 4 16 x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 x3 y3 z3 x4 y4 z4 4 is the line type, 16 is the color, and then the 4 points (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hi Everybody! This my first Intentional post to this group, and I hope it is in the right place. I was wondering if there was an LDraw Part Creation Tutorial. It knew how to handle stright lines as well as arcs and other elliptical segments, as well as Bezier loops and other exotic stuff. For LDraw purposes, (...) (...) These only work for convex pieces. The hollow areas in a concave piece would not be handled properly, since at least one wall would actually move *closer* to the other piece.
