Re: Glass... to BFC or not to BFC?

(...) They require a different approach to optimization - visibility culling, not backface culling. You're right in thinking they should not be BFC. The exception I think might be a full box - which gets composited twice in a polygon system like (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Glass... to BFC or not to BFC?

When authoring "glass" parts, should I include BFC statements? It seems like we wouldn't want to cull because all surfaces should be visible from any direction. On the other hand, BFC is a performance optimization and transparent surfaces are (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Need Part Number - Slope Brick Round 1 x 6 x 1 with 2 Studs on Top

Re: ldglite broke in Mac OS X 10.2.2

(...) I just checked and the SourceForge compile farm only has 10.1 available so I can't compile it on 10.2 right now. Didn't Apple switch to make extensive use of OpenGL in the 10.2 desktop? Who knows what that may have broken. (Perhaps the patched (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

ldglite broke in Mac OS X 10.2.2

The ldglite window in Mac OS X 10.2.2 shows nothing... I am assuming it broke in 10.2. Apple changed quite a bit between 10.1 and 10.2. It probably just needs to be rebuilt. James (22 years ago, 25-Nov-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)
