3. Ignore the rotation point.  Orient the part to fit in the window frame
part at the default position & rotation.
hmmm.... No.  I think if a part rotates around a specific axis when atached
to another part then it needs to be designed around that rotational axis.
Other window panes were designed around their rotational axis so I don't
think this should be any different.

You are right about the rotation point.  It should lie on a major axis, to
simplify rotating.

However, I believe most window panes have been created in their 'default'
orientation, not laying on their side.  If you rotate this part 90-degrees
around X, then 90-degrees around Y (and then maybe fix the position--I
haven't checked), the part will be ready for rotating, then moving into
position in the frame.

(...) What about the a key? Shouldn't that be considered when creating new parts that rotate? Adam (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives, lugnet.cad.dev)
