You might want to look into LDScript. This is scripting language that offers a number of reflection features.

T2 is my lazy way of abbreviating “Type 2”. T4 = Type 4, etc.

(...) The general standard is to go up to 3 decimal places in part files. I agree, main vertices really don't need more than 1 or 2 places. For derived vertices, more precision may be require to keep everything aligned, so going out to 3 places is (...) (20 years ago, 1-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
