  Re: high res bushlocks?  [DAT]

(...) You're probably right. I just remembered that the bushlocks are divided into 32 segments which is fairly colse to 48. Though the notches in bushloc3 would probably align better with the studs if they used the high res primitves at least in (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Problem with click hinge part(s)?

Re: Problem with click hinge part(s)?

(...) Joel Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll do what I can to correct the official part library in the next parts update. Chris Dee (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: high res bushlocks?

(...) I think they are fine the way they are. The basic reason is size. The bushlocks are 20 LDU in diameter. 48-segment primitives are not needed until you get to 80 LDU diameter curves. If you need to put 48-segment primitives with a bushlock, (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Plant Brick 1 x 1 Round with 3 Bamboo Leaves

(...) I found out that according this site (URL) partnumber must be 30176. Would this be correct? And, can someone make it? Thanks. Jaco (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Problem with click hinge part(s)?

I'm working on modeling a recent creation in MLcad, and noticed that there is a difference in the height of the .dat versions of these parts: (2 URLs) When they are lined up side-by-side, the click hinge portions do not line up.   Re: Question about creating Cone 4 x 4 x 3 for LDraw

  Re: Question about creating Cone 4 x 4 x 3 for LDraw

(...) I don't really want a part rotated 45 degrees from direction it's going to be placed. The Ldraw 'A' command works in 90 degree angles. That's why I chose the orientation I did for the mockup. Plus it matches the other cones. I'd say leave the (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Plant Brick 1 x 1 Round with 3 Bamboo Leaves

Has anyone modelled this part: (URL) it does not seem hard, but I do not have the skills to make it. Just use the 1x1 brick round and model the leaves once and use them three times? :-) Jaco (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Question about creating Cone 4 x 4 x 3 for LDraw

By looking at the orientation of the stud and the inner details it seems that this part was creating 45 degrees (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
