Hi there, I might be LUGnet member #95 but I just started using LDraw this evening. I'm already impressed with it (using MLCad for GUI), but I must have to know the secret handshake or something because there are very obvious parts not listed. In (...) (...) I don't think the S curve problem goes away. The tangent control point works perfectly for two (same radius) curves that both curl in the same direction. As long as there are type 5 lines on both ends of each partial cylinder, and the control point out in space is tangent to the cylinder (...) I recently reworked the stud 5 primitive to make use of more quarter cylinders. I then noticed that when viewed there were edge lines apearing where they shouldn't. HI, Perhaps is this the verry first time that a LDRAW part is created BEFORE the official LEGO part's available. Hi Paul, Seems you have to face difficult or even impossible requirements. But often what seems requirements is only remarks.
