  Re: Weird Error

(...) Maybe not the next release - this file has a few more issues to be addressed, and it probably won't be taken care of by then. Steve (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: when to use "~" for title of subfile...

(...) The tilde is not needed for any subparts (subpart=file in parts\s\). The tilde is used to note part files that do not need to be displayed in general part listings. Steve (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Weird Error

(...) My version (Official LCad update 98-02) also has the erroneous line, which should be fixed for the next release... I think the " 1 16" at the end of the line should be deleted. The 30033.dat also has several identical (duplicate) lines. L3P (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: new titles for subfiles (was "proper titles") [LONG]

(...) [insert] "...that I've written..." [/insert] :-P (...) Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

new titles for subfiles (was "proper titles") [LONG]

Steve, Here's the complete list of unofficial subfiles whose titles aren't already in the format that you wanted. I've listed each with a suggested new title. Thanks, Franklin These subfiles are needed only by their "parent" file, thus, the tildes (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

when to use "~" for title of subfile...

(...) Steve, What subfiles, in your opinion, would need the tilde ("~") as the first character? I'm thinking that any subfile created for dithered color usage, and is used only for that one file, would qualify. But I could be wrong... Thanks, (...)   Re: The Mummy (from "Adventurers" theme)

(...) "Another"? Chris, you haven't been paying attention to Franklin's level of minifig activity. At this point, he's qualifying for the "Mr. Prolific" award. Steve (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: The Mummy (from "Adventurers" theme)

(...) That sounds the best way to go. Great to see another minifig author. Chris (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) Right. (...) No, not really. Clean the titles up to: s\971s01.dat Minifig Leg Left without Front Surfaces s\972s01.dat Minifig Leg Right without Front Surfaces Thanks! Steve (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: proper titles for subfiles (was "Rebel A-Wing Pilot Torso")

(...) I'd be happy to compile a list of the subfiles I've written (as time permits) with suggested new titles for same, if you'd be willing to admin-update the files (so that whatever votes they've got won't go away). Would that be OK? Thanks, (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: updating "Leg" files (was "The Mummy")

(...) OK, will do. According to my count, these are the six official files to be modified: 972.DAT Minifig Leg Left 972P63.DAT Minifig Leg Left with Robot Pattern 971.DAT Minifig Leg Right 971P63.DAT Minifig Leg Right with Robot Pattern s\971s01.dat (...)   Re: Wheel holder pin

(...) Well, I've got a carbase 4 X 12 X 1+2/3 that I believe hasn't been modeled yet. I would also be willing to redo the parts that would use this primitive. (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: Wheel holder pin

(...) they all use the same structure? Are you making a part that is going to use this primitive? Steve (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: The Mummy (from "Adventurers" theme)

(...) You should move the remaining 'outside front' surfaces from the leg subfiles to the blank main files, and update the existing printed-leg parts to match the changes. That requires updating 6 official files, and your 3 unofficial files. (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: part 30592 (NAME??)

(...) Heh. You're right, this is a complex one. Previously, we've tended to not (always) note cut-outs or details -- look at the various curved brick or arch parts with 'plate-tabs' at the top. So, for this file, I'd go with 'Brick 2 x 4 x 2/3 with (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 973P73 - Minifig Torso with Vest with Patch Pockets pattern

(...) Not clearly; I think the discussion was limited to parts which appeared in multiple neck-stripe colors, not *which* neck-stripes colors we were going to use. (...) Yes, that's the bit I remember clearly. .... I did some digging, and came up (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: subfile for new part (Rebel *A-wing* pilot torso)

(...) Oh, probably. Except it needs to be rewritten to describe what to do, instead of what not to do. :) (...) True, but I think we covered the filenames well enough that the exception is adequately handled. (...) What are your feelings about (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Baseplates with pattern

(...) Well, that's a bit of good news. I think. :) At least, it removes one issue from the table. Steve (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 973P73 - Minifig Torso with Vest with Patch Pockets pattern

(...) I'm still catching up on everything after getting back from Colorado; I wanted to quickly supply the answer to your question. For CMDLINE, look on page (URL), question "What is the CMDLINE meta-statement?". For KEYWORDS (and CATEGORY), look on (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: The Mummy (from "Adventurers" theme)

(...) (URL) Then, I'll encode the Legs. Which leads me to a quandry... (...) I'm still hoping for feedback on this... Thanks, Franklin (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)
