The '~' is only meaningful for 'hidden' parts in the main
"parts/" directory.

Steve,

What subfiles, in your opinion, would need the tilde ("~")
as the first character?  I'm thinking that any subfile created
for dithered color usage, and is used only for that one file,
would qualify.  But I could be wrong...

(...) The tilde is not needed for any subparts (subpart=file in parts\s\). The tilde is used to note part files that do not need to be displayed in general part listings. Steve (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
