Re: MiniBot Head Star Wars Battle Droid is complete

(...) Annoying isn't it? (...) It didn't take very long (only a couple of hours) to put all of the lines on it. Then I checked it in MLCAD and L3Lab (1200%), and I saw that a chunk of lines that would not show where they should and a few lines that (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: MiniBot Head Star Wars Battle Droid is complete

(...) This piece is so cool. But some of the optional lines aren't quite right. A few appear when they shouldn't and some never seem to show at all. You can see this in l3glite. Load the piece and zoom in so it fills the window. Then spin it around (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

(...) I believe this is a tightly wound coil around a iron core, its purpose is a radio disturbance filter. (...) At first glance it looks very good, I'll hope to give that green light soon. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

(...) Oops, sorry. Manfred Moolhuysen submitted it awhile ago, but I guess he didn't post a copy. Look for a copy at (URL). (...) Yes, you're absolutely right. You can also make a separate file for each of the connectors, with just a stub wire(s), (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: "Medifig" - New scaling for minifig parts

(...) Feel free to use this file or modify it as desired. As long as it's not too "creepy" for you ;). What are these juniorized "Creator" figs? Are they on file for viewing somewhere? Thanx for the feedback, Dirtman (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Hi Steve, 1)Any idee where i can find the stub-file for the electrical wire? Can i find it in the Parts/S directory ? 2)I guess that with a complete shortcut file you mean *** one bottom part on top of the top part (creating one complete (...)   RE: "Medifig" - New scaling for minifig parts

(...) Wow, that's creepy looking! It would work fairly well with some of my vehicle designs, however. As much as I dislike the juniorized Creator figs, I wonder if they aren't more to scale than minifigs... --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

"Medifig" - New scaling for minifig parts  [DAT]

Hi, everyone! I've been working with LEGO's for a long time, and LDraw/MLCad for a while. Judging by some of the posts I've read, I'm not the only one dissatisfied with the overly "cute" juniorized minifigs. I do not own any of the technic figures, (...)   Re: Another rev to the Explorien Logo

Steve, I took a look at it and enjoyed the work that was put into this pattern. See if you can put it on a minifig torso (after changing the light blue to light gray, of course), so that we will at least have one of the 3 Explorien torsoes. James J. (...)   Re: feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

(...) Yes, a complete shortcut file should be created. A stub-file for the electrical wire has been submitted, you can use that in your shortcut. You should put the 'ferrit' (that's the electric leads, right?) in a separate file, and reference it in (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  feedback wanted for parts 2912 & 2913

Hi, I posted 4 weeks ago 2 dat files from the 9v train track power connector.   Re: 6002, similar to 6909?

(...) I haven't seen this part yet, but I have 6059 which is a 3 x 3 x 6 round panel with a spherous top. the problem I discovered was that the top part wasn't a true sphere so I would not be able to use the sphere primitives and the file size would (...)   6002, similar to 6909?

Don and Mark, I recently aquired partn number 6909 which is a 4 x 4 x 6 (?) Round Panel with Spherous Top. I can't help but notice how similar it is to 6002 and was wondering if you two were going to try to make that part also. I tried a little, but (...)   Re: 30086 (and 30087) 'Rubber' Dinghy

(...) I had this same problem when I first put this mpd in my /parts directory. Apparently, MLCad does not like mpd files in the /parts directory. I had to separate the mpd into its subparts. Since I'm more picky than some, I put all the subparts (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
