Re: Another part review question - about headers

(...) Thanks, Steve. I wasn't sure there even were issues with the header - I was just looking for example reviews, and trying to figure out what purpose, if any, the specifications play. Jim (18 years ago, 17-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Another part review question - about headers

(...) If the header is the only problem, certifying is fine -- just note the issue, so the admins can clean up the header later. If it's a question of the header's content (ie, "is that the right title?", etc), then you might go for novote. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 17-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Another part review question - about headers

(...) Hi Willy, Thanks for the background. So, if the header just needs to be cleaned up, you recommend novote with a note about the header format? If I can ask for one more example, how would you respond to a header like this? 0 Car Mudguard 4 1/2 (...) (18 years ago, 17-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

(...) Hi Jaco, Thanks so much for the entheusiastic response to LPub 4! I theory, if you place your cursor over a step in the callout, then right click, a popup menu should appear. One of the menu items is either: "Display as rows", or "Display as (...) (18 years ago, 16-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

(...) And the first thing I am really exited about is the way you can add pointers to your callouts! Amazing! I cannot seem to force the steps in a callout to be packed horizontally using the LPUB CALLOUT HORIZONTAL meta command though. (18 years ago, 16-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Another part review question - about headers

(...) Hi Jim, the new header was the result/a requirement of/for the CA conversion (Ratified 2006-09-08) but the PT is up since 2001. This means that you'll come across many parts which have been submitted earlier: My oldest is this one (URL) (Aug (...) (18 years ago, 16-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Another part review question - about headers

I'm looking at the "Official Library Header" specification ((URL) How strictly must currently unofficial parts conform to the !LDRAW_ORG and !LICENSE lines, for example? Are those set by admins once the content of a part is certified, or as a (...) (18 years ago, 15-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub4 Alpha3 available

(...) Hi Eric, First I would like to conform that you are using Alpha3 instead of Alpha1. The problems you are having sound like the issues Alpha1 had. Alpha 3 has need for msvcr90.dll and comctl32.dll, plus a myriad of other libraries in the (...) (18 years ago, 15-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)
