Because of some of the more recent advancements in software which utilizes the .dat file, I have been thinking about what LDraw *is*. I think we should firmly establish what LDraw is if there are going to [and there will] be more advancements in (...) All this stuff so very new to me and because I love legos and do some programing I would like to try out MLcad nad Ldraw, however I can't seem to get it to work. I've download what I thought to be all the files I need and then install. Nothing seems (...) (25 years ago, 8-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)

I'm looking for part SWENGINE.DAT that shows up in several model DAT files posted on LUGNET (for example, Pat Justisson's Tantive IV -- that's the only one I can remember author and subject off-hand).
