(...) A few things. First of all, both the LDraw file format and the POV file format support hierarchical compositions, so I think it's a good idea to leave things in their original hierarchy. (...) Thanks for that, I'll have a play. I suspect that the problem is likely to be the latest version of the graphics card driver! I tend to keep stuff up to date and LDView certainly worked in the past on this hardware (might have been a previous (...) (16 years ago, 25-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

I have a problem with LDView. When I open any file it gets as far as Calculating Size and crashes out. Error signature AppName: ldview.exe AppVer: 3.2.0.5 ModName: atioglxx.dll ModVer: 6.14.10.5014 Offset: 004353b7 It saves an appcompat file <?xml (...) (16 years ago, 25-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) OK. I tested the results using 11.0 by 8.5 which results in a landscape page fitting the page area. I've updated my LDraw road macro for POV-Ray. The macros have mostly been combined into a single item and now use a more convenient syntax. I've also added an Archemedes spiral in addition to the Nautilus spiral, and removed the dependancy on Chris (...) (16 years ago, 25-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)
