  Re: .mpd to .xml

Thanks, I gave BrickStore a try and I'm quite happy. I like the way it accounts for every part in a .mpd file when copies of sub-models are used. Only draw back is that you are limited on search options with the wanted list on BrickLink. I wish they (...) (18 years ago, 30-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  .mpd to .xml

Hi, It's been almost a few years since I've had time to real world build any of the CAD models I've made. I figured it was time to get crackin' but have run into a snag. Previously I had used BRICKTRAK to covert .mpd files to .xml for easy Bricklink (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Mozaic generator

Hi all, Anyone experience with the MLCAD build-in mozaic generator? Are there any restictions on the picture to convert, and what are the possibilities? I remarked on my first try that the picture on the imageview wasn't much like the original! Any (...) (18 years ago, 24-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Adding to Paul's comment about sub assemblies... when building using LDD, I have noticed that it is difficult to build SNOT assemblies, especially when some of the bricks aren't directly attached to the SNOT brick.   Creating Models and Optimizing instructions using LDD and LDraw

I have added an article over in the LDD Database area of Save 9v Trains of my thoughts about using LDraw (MLCad) to optimize instructions for LDD. (URL) I used this caboose as my test subject.   LDList Documentation (Was: LDD vs LDraw)

Ah ha, it looks like all I missed was the return(1) to let LDList know the ldglite window accept drops. Since it seems to work now, I'd like to gather the scattered LDList documentation here and retitle this part of the thread so I can find it (...) (18 years ago, 20-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Import Mlcad-file to another cadprogram

(...) Does ProE accept .DXF files? There is a utility called DAT2DXF. Browse around on the LDraw.org website and you should find it. -Duane (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
