I'm a visitor/user not a programer (in any sense of the word). My two cents:
Great Idea. To be able to download a model that I don't have (and thus can't CAD
myself) is awesome. Moderating them is good for the users to protect them from
models just slapped together. I know I wouldn't want to download a model just to
find that it's not all there or that it's full of unfinished parts that I don't
have. As for Unoffical Parts: either don't accept them, OR accept them with a
warning to the downloader so that they have the option to avoid that particular
model.
Again, great idea!
