  Re: on Collision, stop Movement

(...) To add my 2 cents worth, I've tried a few experements within MBC for making parts clickable where I defined "male" and "female" connection points within the brick (i.e. STUD = male). Ignoring the sheer number of ways even a brick as simple as (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Nice image. It looks like you also have Geometry->Seam Width checked (although it's hard to tell for sure). I think that when edge lines are turned on, Seam Width tends to just lead to extra noise in the image. On a side note, the Subdued (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

(...) And hey, now might be just the time to do it. You might win valuable prizes :-O! The L Prize site hasn't yet said what you need to do to win prizes there, but reading between the lines, it at least sounds like LCD-based projects would be high (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Yeah, the FSAA only works on some video cards. Since he said 6X, we now all know he has an ATI video card ;-). (ATI is the only manufacture I know of that supports 6X FSAA.) You can get a similar effect to 4X FSAA by simply saving your (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: on Collision, stop Movement

(...) A connection database would be great for something like a simulator. I was at BrickFest and someone asked me about this. It might be fun to work on a project like that, and it could be handy to have the features within an editor. Often I make (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Blender LDraw support

I've worked a bit more on my Blender LDraw import script. Recent additions: * Requires Blender 2.34 for some convenient functions. * Creates materials for each LDraw colour used, but does not fill in colours. * ldrawdir is now high in the script and (...)   Re: Question: Wedge or Wing?

Re: question about people who are doing rapid prototyping of parts...

(...) If the $75 is (mostly) from some base flat fee, then one way to reduce the $/part might be to have the 'file' being printed contain multiple parts, or multiple copies of a part. You could do the plastic 'tree' thing liek model parts come on if (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad)
