  Re: Gray parts in LPub

(...) This is actually an L3P bug. If you create a DAT with a single part in it and run it through L3P, you get the part in grey, no matter what the color of the part really is. Work around? Put in a second part in exactly the same position, and use (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Gray parts in LPub

In a model I created the first part of submodel is renderd gray!? In the next step it is blue, like it is supposed to be. What is happening here? Jaco (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

More time to kill more MBC reports to be filed

Well, VPC hosed my Pismo (Disk First Aid reports a "missing thread something or other"), so while I am backing up more files before I wipe the drive tomorrow I decided to test MBC (and LDV) on my PB 1400c. The following observations were made on a (...) (21 years ago, 31-May-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

(...) Sure, I'd like to try and make it better, but I don't know if I can until I see the source. If it's delphi code I won't be able to build it, but I still may be able to contribute. Based on the output, it looks like bmp2ldraw32 already has most (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: easy pattern creator?

(...) Hey, is the source to BMP2LDRAW or BMP2LDRAW32 available? I know some really nifty edge tracking algorithms from way back when I used to do image processing that might come in handy here to remove the jaggies. Don (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: easy pattern creator?

(...) I think for quick and dirty patterns, this is a fine approach. It works best with patterns that are monochromatic, I think. For things like minifig torsos it may not work as well as sitting down and figuring out the polygons would. Plus, as (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.cad)
