In lugnet.cad, Ahui Herrera writes: <basic premise snipped> (...) I fall into the intermediate camp. I do think a set of Ldraw/PoV/Terragen specific tips would be useful. You're 100% corrrect that there's no need to write tutorials for the programs (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

No tutotial for Terregen (was Re: Create Terrains and import to POV)

Okay after further review of the two wonerful 3D scene generator programs that we have discovered [Terragen ((URL) Forestor (URL) I have concluded that I won't be creating a tutorial for them (at least no time so.) Why? Well, stop and think about (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Resetting view?

(...) Even easier way - right-click in the view, select "View angle" from the menu, and change it from back to front. Also means your model will display the right way 'round in all the other viewers out there 8?) ROSCO (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Resetting view?

Oh, ignore me - I'm being thick (well, it is nearly midnight and my brain is scrambled). Just select all the pieces and rotate them around - yeah yeah, I know that now!! Sorry to have troubled you all, I'm going away now. Thanks again, Andrew. (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Resetting view?

Hi there all, I'm new to this computer Lego computer design malarkey - so have a very stupid question. Is there any way, once you have completed a model in MLCAD, to reset which view is the "front" view? Only I seem to have accidentally made my (...) (23 years ago, 26-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: LdGLite for MacOS 8.6 - 9.2

At last I have access to Lugnet. To access my public folder under MacOS 9, do the following. 1. Log onto your own iTools account from www.apple.com 2. Select iDisk from the buttons ontop of the screen 3. When the iDisk page shows up there will be 3 (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Re: LdGLite for MacOS 8.6 - 9.2

For those who don't know, to access the iDisk, you connect via webdav. So, in Mac OS X, all you need to do is in the Finder, select "Connect to server" (command-k). Type in this URL: (URL) Mac OS 9, I really don't know. In Windows, etc., you will (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  Calling for Beta Testers

  LdGLite for MacOS 8.6 - 9.2

Posted for Andrew: ---...--- Further to this subject, I have spent the last couple of months updating and rewriting LdGLite for the Macintosh. (...) I noticed that -- I saw it on the Parts Tracker. :) Any chance you could rotate it 90 degrees?   Re: Requesting another plug-in for LDDesignPad

(...) Thanks, Don! That helped a lot. I downloaded ldglite, followed your instructions, and it worked fine. MLCad does not have such an easy inline feature. Cheers, --Ryan K'nex: (URL) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Lego Cad on the PocketPC?

Wouldn't it be great if there were a lego cad program like MLCad for the pocketPC? Take your models with you, work on them whenever you have some idle time. Show off your work whenever you get the chance. Even a just viewer like LDLite would be (...) (23 years ago, 25-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Subfiles - Question

(...) That's what i've done this evening. I splitted the main file into one new subfile (32087s02.dat witch re-use the 2865s04.dat file)and the mainfile (32087_mainfile.dat). I couldn't add the small center track pieces too the 32087s02.dat file due (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
