It's been a while, but I finally put together a new version ldglite. It's up to version 0.7. Yay! Almost halfway to ldlite version 1.6. New stuff: Added a file open menu. Added cropping of PNG and BMP output image files to the model extents. Added (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

Oh my god!!!! I'm sooooo sorry you wrote this huge reply just for me. I thought the part was just a .dat file so I immediately stored it as such. This is just a little nitpick, but I noticed that when MLCad starts up, it isn't maximized. It is set to fill the screen, but not actually in a maximized state. Occasionally i have accidentally gone to minimize the screen and instead dragged the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(...) MLCad and LEdit both go strictly by the descriptive names for parts. LDraw Add-On's VEC looks for the 0 CATEGORY meta-statement for organizing parts. LDList and Partsref make use of both 0 KEYWORDS and 0 CATEGORY for organizing and/or finding (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

It has been brought to my attention that v0.9.1 is incompatible with Win95. This is due to a screwup on my part in using a function call that didn't exist in Windows 95. I have zipped up a replacement .exe file which fixes the problem (by using (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

I'm not sure what L3P/L3Lab do, but in LDView I require the part's base filename to not end with a letter (as well as being in the parts directory) in order to treat it as a part for the purpose of seams. I did this because I noticed a number of (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Gosh, all I thought Ldraw/MLCad used for sorting was the "0 line" comment; the first word is what mklist.exe uses for organization if you select sort by description by either entering a 'd' during running of the program (the hard way) or if (...) Lars Hassing in another thread recently pointed out that subparts contained within the PARTS directory will appear with seams during rendering. Is there any way to prevent this? More specifically, in which directory should one place subparts if (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
