  Re: DAT: Technic Liftarm 3 x 5 L-shaped

Two examples of this part (coloured black) will come with a soon-to-be-realeased Lego Mindstorms pack that I have been beta-testing. Cheers JP (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: More ?'s regrading posting protocol

(...) Yes, it's OK to post sets where some of the pieces are missing. If possible, substitute a similar piece, but use a contrasting color, to make it clear that a substitution was made. Adding a comment about the right piece is a good idea, too. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

(...) it aint from the 8448, thats for sure, if it was then it would have been on the list of "parts from 8448 not yet available" that steve bliss posted a while ago now for one thing. (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: DAT: Technic Liftarm 3 x 5 L-shaped

Wow, I've never seen this part before. What set is it from? The 8448? Or the Dark Side Developer? Anyway, I agree with your choice of insertion point and orientation, since it is consistent with the other bent liftarms in LDraw. Fredrik (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: DAT: Technic Liftarm 1 x 5 (wide)

This part looks good to me! Thanks for your work. Before you submit it, though, I'd like to ask you to reposition it so that it is centered in the origin. Compare it with the part 32017.DAT.   More ?'s regrading posting protocol

Is it ok to post sets w/ missing pieces? I've modeled set 3442 & 2148, both semi-trucks. The "truck horn" part has not been created yet. The color chrome doesn't seem to be an option in MLCAD. I've used gray for all of the crome pieces for these two (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)
