Re: User POV substitutions in L3P

(...) If it makes renderings better, POV files smaller, and doesn't take a lot of effort on my part, how could I not be interested? Please continue your efforts! --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: User POV substitutions in L3P

(...) It sounds as a good idea since the parts/primitives libraries will need updates only when new l-cad updates are released. The current version of l3p allthough really good still needs regular updates to keep up with the growing parts libraries. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  User POV substitutions in L3P

After playing with Ldraw, The first thing I wanted to do was learn the file format and write a converter to POV. Then I found L3P, and was delighted. When I saw the minifigs with faceted heads, I investigated and learned about the triangle and quad (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: help!!! - light sources in POV-RAY

(...) Actually, the help files with POV suck rocks -- you're railroaded through the tutorial, and it severely lacks in many areas. And the resources listed on www.povray.org deal almost exclusively for pre-3.1 versions. (...) Is it current? Does it (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: help!!! - light sources in POV-RAY

(...) The help files included with POV are pretty good. Of course you can also check www.povray.org. I have a book called "Ray Trace Creations" that I bought in a book store, which is about one inch thick and deals exclusively with POV. -Chuck (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: MPD spec

  Re: Minifigs

(...) A lot of ray-traced minifig images might not be LDraw-based. Anton Raves in particular has done a *lot* of great minifigs in POV-Ray (but I'm not sure they are included in his downloadable library). And a number of other ray-tracing people (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)

Wheel Technic 20x30 DAT file wanted

Hi, I don't know if i'm on the right place to ask if anyone has a Technic Wheel 20x30 .DAT file? I wan't to draw my 'OCTAN' gas car and i'm missing the wheel. It's similar to the 'Wheel Technic 24x43 (LDRAW Part 3739)', but the 20x30 is 4 studs wide (...) (25 years ago, 8-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Another request to LDlite programmers...
