I have completely rewritten the detection of primitives and edges: now
the program first scans all the facets to create all the adjadent
edges and to keep information about adjadent facets. Then all tangent
facet are put together in geometric surfaces. The facets are written
grouped by geometric surfaces, separated by an empty line.
Many options can be set in the command line.
Optimize creation of type 5 lines : no creation of unnecessary lines.

It seams like a great work !

I would appreciate any comments and suggestions.

A Mindstorms fan.

I'm one of the probably most interested persons in this, but I'm affraid
I can't try it right now, too much going on in my life right now.
As soon as I can, I will try it, and also will email you some source
(.stl) files for you to try (debugging/optimization).

See ya

P.S.
How are you detecting the primitives ? What is your algo ?
I think this is a very difficult task to accomplish preciselly, good
luck.
