A new release of stl2dat is available here (URL) creates now correctly the type 2 lines. I removed the bug with "partial adjacent facets". (was a silly bug, triangles where merged too early) The part name, author name and angle limit can be given in (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hey!! This is almost exactly what I've been looking for:) Great, very nice with the "rotate with mouse" feature. Some suggestions: When exporting to POV it could be nice to export the view in the window (or am I doing something wrong?) How about a (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

I used Platypus Animator (from (URL) to build an MPG file from a series of L3P-->POV files (see the results at (URL) I believe that Platypus can convert to an animated GIF also... I've finished a new scene. The models used have all been published before, but the focus is on the landscape. I've written the POV file so as to make the landscape very easy to customize. (...) Now those are true words! We have almost as many renderers as users! :-) No harm meant, though. Personally, I prefer LEdit to compose (sub) models, L3Lab to do explorative viewing and LDLITE to do final rendering of models. If there is ever a (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
