The Mercedes is a hoot: how many of us forget the civilian side of the
future?

I try to keep some variety in my vehicles. That's why I like to include things
like freighters and medical vehicles.... no one else does!

I'd love to do a medical vehicle.. I used to draw them all the time in school.
But I'd hafta almost completely restock myself in white cuz it's tied up in
some of my town stuff.

Maybe I should have a contest for non-military space vehicles.

That'd be cool. Yet at the same time, maybe you could make various categories
of those vehicles so that folks would have a springboard from which to work.

Keep in mind, however, that not everyone can afford fuel for trans-light
engines. Only the rich can afford their own Space Mercedes. Everyone
else has to take the larger spaceliners. (I can't make one of those until I
get a bunch of chairs)

Actually, I was thinking of ships basically in the way that cars do now. Maybe
the Mercedes do have trans-light engines, but I was thinking of the economy
compact spacecar for the average commuter too. They could do just barely over
light speed for the average Joe that commutes to Mars everyday. Perhaps even a
space-wagon or camper for that family vacation to Titan.
