Don, The wheels or tracks effectively add 2 to 6 studs of width, so starting anything more than 8 wide is going to make for a unrealistically big tank. I'd start with 6 o 8 in width, and maybe two and a half times that in length. I like to make sure (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.military)

Hi again, Might as well post another chopper while I'm on a roll:) The Skystalker Stealth Gunship is the first aircraft I've built in a few years. Don, Take a look at my BS folder to see how I've used different tracks and wheels on different vehicles. This could also be LEGO's way to slyly "ease" into a military theme. I wouldn't be surprized if they avoid using swastikas and the like, which is just as well perhaps.
