I don't see the utility of having lightened undersides for helicopters since
they generally fly so low. It certainly helps high flyers like fighters and
bombers.
Your MOC is a fine looking helicopter.

| Robert, The US seems to have moved away from having lighter undersides on both planes and choppers (perhaps because so many missions are at night) but I've seen a number of Russian helicopters with lighter undersides. I'd guess that it has less to (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.military)

| Hi again, Might as well post another chopper while I'm on a roll:) The Skystalker Stealth Gunship is the first aircraft I've built in a few years. It looks a lot like the classic Cobra gunship, but was mainly inspired by the stealthier Commanche. It (...) (17 years ago, 22-Jul-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military) !
