Hi all,

It's high time for my military arsenal to grow beyond tanks and AFVs:
Check out the new Pegasus Assault Chopper.

BS folder, when public:

Deeplinks until then:

The Pegasus performs in the role of multipurpose assault and transport, and
usually carries seven to eight infantry in the rear compartment, in addition to
the crew of pilot, co-pilot/navigator and two door gunners. Alternatively to the
troops, two stretchers can be carried along with a medic.

I'm pretty satisfied with this one. I'm especially happy how the camoflague
scheme looks, with standard tactical camo on top and light bley underneath (this
is the first time I've used bley and thought it actually looked better than old
gray). The miniguns can either fire sideways or be pivoted so as to be fixed to
fire forwards. The sliding door worked fairly well too.

On the downside, I can't really put all the figs in (especially the pilots)
without taking the chopper apart a bit. Also, the Pegasus isn't the sturdiest
design and the fuselage breaks a little too easily.

As with my ground vehicles, the Pegasus isn't modelled on a particular vehicle
but rather inspired by various ones I've seen. I was initially going for a sleek
Blackghawk look, but ended up with something a little chunkier. Someone
commented that it looked like a Frech helicopter, and I think I know which one
he meant, but I forget what itis called.

The Pegasus was first unveiled at BrickWorld07, where it saw action in the skies
above the AMCP display.

Enjoy

Magnus
