I'd prefer these to ball joints, given the choice. The latter are just to
weak to support any weight without some extra stiffening, IMO. Now.... I
used balljoints for NekoII's ankles, basically supporting her whole frame,
but I restricted the range of motion to one axis (and maybe 5 degrees of
play in the other direction), so they can be used. I'd just rather not.

erm, I wouldn't pay full price for any set for two or three pieces, no
matter how cool they were. Still, they're stiff, and Professor Snead figured
out how to make them stiffer:
