The first series was originally Superdimensional Fortress Macross
The second series was originally Superdimensional Fortress Southern Cross.
It was supposed to be a much longer series in Japan but never caught on, so
they butchered the series together out of the animation they had created. A
lot died on the cutting-room floor in Japan.
The third series was Genesis Climber MOSPEADA. MOSPEADA is indeed an
acronym which refers to the cyclones. Genesis Climber would seem to refer
to the Regis' strategy.
Is Patlabor the series better than the Patlabor movies? The short time
which mecha were on-screen in the movies was disappointing to me.

| Yes, the series has more labors in it, tho its hard to find the eps anywhere... took me over a month to finally get the 7 original OAVs, 16 second OAVs, and 47 episodes of the TV series... Thank god for MIRC :P But there are many different types of (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
