A large number of FASA's original Battlemechs were "borrowed" from
Macross/Robotech. The ones that come to mind are:
Macross --> Battletech
Excaliber --> Warhammer
Raidar X --> Rifleman
Veritech fighter --> Wasp (and the Phoenix Hawk as I recall)
Zentradi Officer's Pod --> Marauder
There are others, I believe, but these are the ones I recall.
