| | Hey all. I've been in contact with one of our old posters, one Stuart Immonen by name, and he gave me permission to post this message. I have not altered it except to clean up line-wrapping and spelling. Any errors should be assumed to be my own. (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| | | | (...) (snip) This is an excellent post. While I believe that LEGO is cool because you can build whatever you want, I think that for a long time most of the creations in .mecha aren't even Mecha. They can be some cool creations but they don't really (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | | | | (...) Probably a good idea. I don't have any malice towards other styles. I love almost all LEGO building. What I mostly mean is that I think the content of the group should strive to meet the coolness that is its name: Mecha. I think this is the (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | | | | As a builder myself I have an issue with the concept of this group focusing on the Japanese "MECHA" concept. In brief, I dont do designs of this type. I do designs that would more likely be called MECHS. In reality I don't do Mechs either, I do a (...) (21 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| | | | | | Hey cool! Its Biggs from the Herc Bay! Welcome! Although I must point out: This group shares in all Lego Robot Designs. Mechs, Mecha, Quads, Hexapods, Dropships, what ever.
