(...) Probably a good idea. I don't have any malice towards other styles. I love almost all LEGO building. As a builder myself I have an issue with the concept of this group focusing on the Japanese "MECHA" concept. In brief, I dont do designs of this type. I do designs that would more likely be called MECHS. In reality I don't do Mechs either, I do a (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hi Bill! It's good to hear a dissenting opinion, but I'm not certain I agree and here's why: (...) The first mech I ever built was of the chicken walker variety, the second was an ED-209 redub. I've been doing some research on .mecha and ran across this beautifully worded post from Stuart (via Soren).
