  Head idea

I was goofing with a smaller powersuit body and came up with this instead. What do you think? Should I build the rest of the mech? (URL) is also a new version of the gla gla hand in dat form. t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Delurk and three MOCs

Tip #1 Some pictures are too large. That is a HUGE pet peve (sp?) of mine! Any picture should be no larger then 800 x 600 pixels and that is the maximum. You should keep most models pics below that! Tip #2 well I have no more, just the first. :) (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: First attempt at mecha

Alright a new mecher! So do you plan on making more mechs? What kinds of mechs do you prefer, Mech Warrior style or Gundam-ish style? Cool stuff! t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: leg building instructions redux

It's always good to see someone refine their own work and make it that much better! Oh BTW now I know what parts you were talking about! The peeron links you sent me had no pics and I never replied to you 'cause I am too lazy :) t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) the base unit. Very nice. The mecha thing looks like some kind of spiney, drive around the sand dunes sort of thing. I sort of got more into the baseplate honestly. Snow Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks. yeah, the ankles are a bit thin, too much armor on the foot though makes it look chunky. I got the revised instructions up, you should try something. ;D (URL) Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

I refined the design a bit, and also came up with a less parts intensive, more technic design. (check out angelus to see that in action) Also seen is the stronger middle member design. See them here (when moderated) (URL) Daddy (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yow! Great cockpit, just can't get enough of that hinging action! Gotta say though, the head is my favorite part. I agree with Tony, the ankles look funny on a mecha of this size. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: A G-G-Galidor Mech?

As much as I hate the Galidor line, I say that this is quite pimpalicious. The legs and feet are just great! I really dig the feet, they are my favorite part second to the head. What did you use for the shoulder? t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
