What a stupendous Meleagris gallopavo!  (most interesting-sounding alternate
word choice I could find)  I'll have to look at more of the pics "tomorrow"
but I can say that the detailing is superb and the full-blown armor mode is
freakin cool!

Just following myself up, I have now been through all of the pictures.
Couple of things...The feet could not be better! Taken out of context one
would still be able to identify them as a bird's feet.

I was supremely pleased with the way the legs turned out.  They were one of the
things that I tried to get "bird-like" as best that I could.

The guard rails and
the tubes on the tail feathers accent them perfectly.

Nothing like a little greebly-ing to make life fun :)

The joints for the
heavy metal Tri-cannons are quite neat.

That Trigun compartment took me forever to design.  I'd originally had a design
for them to go where the Bert Lasers are, but that space was too small.  When I
got to the area under the wings I realized that I could put the triguns there.
Happy day!  Getting a hinge design that worked was an annoying procedure, but
one of those things that seems to happen all to often with a model like this
(the Bert Lasers and 9-pack missiles are mounted with a similar hinge design)

The whole compartment/formation for
the big ol' weapon is simply marvelous.

This was actually the first wide open space that I'd designed into the turkey,
and at this point I realized that the hidden weapon concept was really going to
work.

But I do have to say that the White
Meat Missiles are my favorite...just cool. Are they on sliders?

Sort of.  The three missiles on each side have a 2x6 brick on the back.  That
brick is pushed along a tiled enclosure inside the body from the back with a
technic lever.  Push the bottom of the lever back, and the top of the lever
pushes the missiles forward.  They then push the door open and force their way
out.  You can see the very tips of the two technic levers at the very bottom of
this picture.

The levers just barely fit into a cavity in the bottom of the mech, behind the
9-pack missiles when they're not deployed.

Furthermore, I know this may seem a bit early, but have you given any
thought to other "realistic" mechas of birds or other animals???
Keep it up.

As a matter of fact, I have, but it's a secret.  Shhh...  Don't expect any
sequels for a little while, though.  Too many other ideas in my brain!

Thanks
