o.k. here it is, folks! my third mecha: TA-7 "Rotgeist". inspiration came
from armored core 2. i am very pleased with this moc, although there's no
real original building ideas here. i was very satisfied with the sniper
rifle and how the chain gun and cannon are "retractable". i am not too
thrilled with the color scheme. i really wanted a red mecha, but most of my
bricks are gray, so i had to do a combo. i think i should have localized
the colors more instead of mixing them throughout the model.
arm poseablility is comparable to gunjin, i.e. they use plate hinges and
ball joints. the legs are not very poseable, although they do use click
hinges and friction pegs which allow for some movement. i built the legs
first, then the rest followed. i really liked the reversed knee look--it's
seems a nice change from the gundam design, which i tried to stay away from.

| Another Jason mecha! woohoo! The gunjin was awesome, so expectations are high. ;^) This mecha is fantastic! | Jason, This is another step up for you! This guy looks amazing. The red stripe down the center and clean red lines of the shoulders flowing to outer edge of the arms look very profesional! | Hey cool, dig the three peiece knee hindge. Like the feet rear splay. The shoulders look really cool, love the hatches, nice compact fit here. Really like the chest with the two inverted halves. | I just had to comment on how nicely refined this model is, Jason. You obviously put quite a bit of effort into the design and coloration of the TA-7 Rotgeist.
