I guess it just goes to show that there are only so many ways that you can put a couple of bricks and plates together. (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Crusaider light melee mech teaser

(...) Good to know, Trev! Keep an eye out both here and in .announce.brickswest for the mecha sessions handouts which will be available shortly. There will be all sorts of neat tips and tricks for builders of creations with joints. -Dave (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: The Crusader light infantry / melee mech - Good pics

Nicely done, Trevor! I really like the fusion of older ideas (hands, Colin's legs) with the new ones (Kaukau Canopy). It just has a very nice flow to it. I oly wish I'd had time to consult you about this one before BricksWest as I would have liked (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Bobby, how can I critique something this cool? You did a bang-up job on it! I'd love to see more pics of this one's details. -Dave (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Invictus Horriblus-The Unconquerable Horror

I'm not usually one to reply to my own messages, but this debut has been delayed to an unfortunate accident involving tight hip joins and gravity. Follow-up will be in 2-3 weeks. -Dave (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: First Moc: DB4 Powersuit

Overall, this is a very sweet design, Tony! I like the scale you're using. My favorite 'touch'-the technic bushings used on the joints. At first I thought there was a purpose behind them, but after getting past the fact that they are only (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Nice Job, Mark! Though the pic is a bit tough to make out, I think I understand the level of posability you were trying to achieve. Nicely done! -Dave LUGNET #524 (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I got laid off two weeks ago. Fortunately, I immediately got a new job, but I couldn't exactly take days off so soon after starting. I'll make every effort to be there next year! (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Guys, wish I coulda been there. I drooled over the pictures, and love what I saw.   Swarm Warrior update...

Greetings, all. I just thought I'd let you know that I built the Swarm Warrior in real life a week or so ago, and only now did I get around to taking a picture of it. This picture demonstrates its posability. Enjoy! (URL) Nelson LCC Command: (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  First Moc: DB4 Powersuit

I figured I would start small with my Powersuit and work on to my bigger MOC's. This was the first .dat, .pov file I have ever made, so sorry if looks bad.
