Yes! Here's the deal, the fins on the arms help with mid air control when
the jump jets kick in. The antennas on the back of the Mech are sensors that
work with the jump jets and the Mechs topographical displays and automation.
The Antennas on the Mech's head are for sensing the world around the mech as
it encounters new situations and obsticles.
As for the sanity of the Mech pilot. Well, let's put it like this, even if
the pilot is of Cyber origins, it knows the missions the LSB may be sent on
could be one way mission, so they get a little loopy and lose track of why
they were dispatched in the first place.
