====Chris, this new LSB is really cool. Since all the parts are new, it
stands better and finds it's weight easy. Plus you know how it is with
taking pix of Black Lego. In person it's so shiny and cool looking. The pix
and my barely decent camera simply don't do it justice.

you try to rebuild it?

I've actually been thinking a lot about LBB since BricksWest; I guess the
biggest surprise for me was how fun it was to pose LBB and make it's waist bend
back and forth.  I've always had and inherent distrust for worm gears, due to
the fact that the layperson would just try to turn the joint without knowing
how.  But the worm gears give the model a very mechanical and satisying feel.
I've been playing with them since coming back from BricksWest, and I've found a
new love for them.  Also, I really like the way in your bots the parts and
functions define the aesthetics of the model, rather than you trying to conform
your model to a preconceived notion of what it should look like.

Anyway, if you sent a sorting bot to me, I would probably rebuild it, assuming
I had the right parts; then I would investigate theat swing out motion we were
talking about...

Or maybe you are just planning to have stealth bot steal all of my unpublished
joint technology...;-)

Later, Chris
