hehe...yes, he is!

Good! It's nice to see others are starting to respect the ball socket joints properly!

lol! I can just picture you slapping away their hands because you wanted to play with it! :)

Yep! Invictus Horriblus took a mighty fall because I didn't follow the 'Guide to Setting Up Large Scale Mecha' by Bryce McGlone. I knew the steps to take to ensure that everything held together just fine, but
didn't follow them. No worries though. I'll just present the new mecha once it's 100% ready to go...sometime in the next 3 weeks or so. Definitely before the next LUGOLA meeting at the end of March/early April.
I'll post the leg pics in a couple of days just so folks can get an idea of what I'm working on. I still haven't gone back into the red chest that IH is stored in. It's just not something I want to do at the
moment. I'd rather organize my recent acquisitions before attempting the repair/completion of Invictus Horriblus. Eric posted a couple of pics on Brickshelf that show a bit of what I was working on. It was
aproximately 70% finished at the time. I'm back down to 45% now. :(

I refer to it as 'What if Todd McFarlane built an EVA?'. That seems to be the most accurate description anyone's come up with so far. Wait until June before Bryce attempts anything new. I suspect he's mildly
burned out at the moment. That design took quite a while gestating, so I think he'll take a back seat to the rest of us for the time being once he publishes the descriptions about this one.

Too true. Only a lack of time prevented me from contacting some of them so that we could display their mecha efforts. Next year I'll do better.

YES! Talk to Bryce about this one. He can probably take care of it for us. I, for one, would like to see how I came across while speaking about joint tech. I know Chris came across well. Bryce too!

Yeah, Saturday wasn't a happy day for the Legomaster. He was quite busy repairing his MOCs in the MOC Pavilion.

In many ways I thought Sunday's talk was better and in many ways it wasn't as good. Consider it as Saturday-beginner/ Sunday-advanced discussions. One thing is true-both days covered different subjects and that's
what we were going for. Don't think all the info has been gone over yet. Not only do I still need to get the handouts to Matt Gerber for upload to the BricksWest site, but there's some stuff that Sun, Chris and I
discussed that will be posted to .build.mecha in the coming weeks. Keep watching for it!

Yeah, they were so cool that I think they need to be honorary LUGOLA members until we can talk them into abandoning that sinking ship caled Microsoft and coming to live here in L.A. ;)

DO! DO! DO! There is no such thing as scheduling 'too much time' for Lego.
