My take on Brickswest '02
It was great getting a chance to meet everyone and get a chance to put a
face to their respective awesome creations.
Chris, you're a engineering nut and it was nice to get a chance to sit down
with you and talk shop about joint technology. You, Dave and Bryce gave a
great lecture on mecha and I'm glad I was there to get it on tape. If you
want a copy I'll send you one.
I had the chance to say about three sentances to Eric but sadly never had
the time to hook-up properly. Sorry Eric, don't take it personally! E-me
sometime! Thank God for the Internet.
It was a nice surprise to see Sun there. I love his stuff and his web site.
Surprisingly his mechs are ALOT bigger in person than on a computer screen.
You have to see them in person!! Sun, hope to see you at the next LUGOLA
meeting!
Bryce and Dave, great lecture on Saturday, hope Sunday's was just as good.
Agiel...spooky-spikey love! Also, thanks for grabbing my stuff. I thought
the take down time was on Monday not Sunday! Oops. aheh-heh. I'll call ya.
Got to meet some guys from SEALUG Mark and Stephen. Nice guys from
Microsoft. Thanks for the ride!
Overall it was short and sweet. I wish I had more than one day to attend
but I saw alot for my first Lego experience. Maybe I'll schedule more time
next year...
One last parting thought... Hey! Where was everyone else?!?
Jeff

| (...) I got laid off two weeks ago. Fortunately, I immediately got a new job, but I couldn't exactly take days off so soon after starting. I'll make every effort to be there next year! (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
