We all did!
Let me take the opportunity to say thanks for sending "03" to BricksWest. I've
always wanted to see one of your creations in the flesh. It is much larger
than I anticipated! Bryce was the one who re-assembled it, so he was the one
to see most of the inner workings; he was so in awe of it, he was speechless -
thanks for that, too, Brian! (Just kidding, Bryce ;-))
"03" is really an unbelievable model. The patience and creativity and
ingenuity you and Bryce and Eric put into these monstrosities really showed in
the group photos. I reckon it will be many years before I think of attempting
a model of that scale. Even tansporting them is in itself a challenge. I got
a taste of this when Bryce asked me to hang on to his newest "Agiel" model
while we drove to Legoland; here I was in the passenger's seat carrying this
red monster with tentacles and spikes and every other thing, trying not to hit
it against anything. Then there was Eric, on his way to the airport,
dicovering GG's hand in the yard in front of his house!
The most amazing thing was seeing a full sized pick-up truck filled to capacity
with the Cooper, Sophie, and Mcglone creations...
Well, I'm not going to bore everyone with all of the details of what happened
at Brickswest in this post.
All I'll say is that is was a good weekend for mecha.
Later, Chris
