Several builders have privately agreed to do Soren's build anyway just for fun. The "group" for lack of a better term would like to re-open it to .mecha. Hey Danny, thats interesting. You may be on to something. I'm wondering, when a corrective tension is added (turning the opposing gear) the center of the axle will twist. (...) I've done a similar solution however: I put 2 worm gears on 1 40t gear. One on top and one on the bottom. My intent was to counter the slipping that happens under severe loads. Oh man! I really like this design! That cockpit is slick. The leg design with the stud connections is very cool, small but very nice. The whole thing is so cool. Wow, great job! (...) It is small, but also very functional. The design speaks of utility. I suppose the simple colour scheme also adds to the utilitarian feel of it. Interesting, but in Iron Chef you are given a main ingredient that you must use to make a dish of your own choosing. While I am not particularly impressed by the infighting - I love the idea of everybody having a go at building form a target mecha.
