  Re: The Beeesh

(...) No way dude, you rock. I value your opinion, you for sure have never held back. It would smarter for me to listen than just put across the wrong message. (...) Look really, I just said I am not above critiques. Don't jerk me around. Some (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Well, I've made suggestions to Eric a few times, especially via e-mail, and he was quite happy to hear them and discuss them. Most people are very open to critiques, the problem comes when the critic doesn't now what the hell they are (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Sorry, taking advice from a novice in the field is just not easy. Though you have the right and the ability to use your visual skills to point out some design aspects if they come to mind. I don't want to be snobby in that way, so I'll hear (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

In lugnet.build.mecha, David Eaton wrote: (major snippage) (...) My gawd man! Are you OK? Now, I'm not in the mecha crowd but I do get some enjoyment checking out works by Eric. What really got me to post here were those last sentences. You make it (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) I know you probably don't value my opinion any more than the other people that have posted in this thread, but it certainly does appear that you think you *are* beyond critique. Dave and Lenny's posts were polite, but honest expressions of (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) How so? I was defending my right to criticize, and I will continue to do so. (...) I am always open to being a friend, but it (URL) appears> you don't really want to be my friend. -Lenny (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Are you calling me out because I dont understand worm gears? Are you calling me out because I never saw the minifigs sitting in your mecha? Because I thought your mecha were more artistic sculptures than the silly minifig scale stuff I do? (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

ENOUGH ALREADY! Let it go. This takes away from other people's efforts and creations. STOP. Thank you very much. Lenny did you have to frelling mention SciBrick? C'mon. Also, If you are man enough to let this other carp go, I still want to be (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

Eric: Or you'll just have to wait for my Documentry. It is in progress. Dave: Neat! See, now THAT's different :) It's not every day you get to see a documentry on Lego builders. Is it destined for airing? Eric: Like I said, way to blow off people's (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) You didn't read that carefully, Mladen. As with all criticism, I mentioned both good points and bad. Examples of good comments: "The over-all form is nice." "I really like the head." Everything else I said was not a deliberate attempt to put (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The Beeesh

Joint technology is what sets mecha building apart from other styles. Eric does what he does well. His gearing and joint tech change with each model. If you don't notice the changes in how the legs spread apart, or how he incorporates a new technic (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) Really? I mean, I'm not trying to say your MOC's are somehow any less valuable, but I personally have seen enough of them such that they don't really interest me anymore. It'd be a shame if you genuinely want me NOT to check out your MOC's. (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Beeesh

(...) I agree with Todd. Adrian, nobody forced you to reply to Eric's post. I mean, you're not even a frequent build.mecha poster, so I don't understand why you felt compelled to reply to his particular post. It just came out of the blue. Same for (...)   Re: The Beeesh

(...) Thank you Todd. Admittedly, although I have quite a frustration factor with Mr. Drake, I do hope to figure out how to avoid these kinds of problems. Fact is I don't know how.
