  New MOC: Pirate Landmate

(URL) A light landmate, based on Jun Nishizawa's HUMPTY-DUMPTY. Designed to support boarding operations in microgravity. Armed with a cutter bar and flechette rifle. Enjoy! Soren (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Civilian exosuit

  Re: Giant Demonic Armor!

(...) I'd say you succeeded. It has the proportions of a human, with perhaps one exception - the head is a bit too small to fit the body IMO, but since it *is* a mecha, there's really nothing wrong with that. If you ignore the fact that it's a (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Giant Demonic Armor!

Well, This is my second attempt at bridging the gap between castle and mecha(an unlikely combination, i know!) and i hope that i have done better this time. With my last castle-mecha i was told that it seemed too mechish for castle, so i tried to (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc)

  Re: Paladin mk2 Hardsuit

BRAVO! Awesomely done Troy! I love it when people actually take advice and remake something to make it better. The original was so close to being something quite cool. Which you have done amazingly. (...) I love that beer-can rack that comes out of its back. That's beautiful! (And if they're not beer cans, they should be--my only beef being that I didn't think beer was sold in eights...) All around beautiful, this. LFB (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Eric, I got to salute you on this, fantastic idea! It was a lot of fun seeing Skrylitch come together. Making me think I aught to so something similar. Then this really will be BUILD.mecha cool. Mark (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Gundam-K6

Here are some slightly better pics. I completely redid the arms and beefed up the ankle joint, but I'm still stuck on the hands. This model is the perfect size to keep any hand I've seen from being proportionally correct. (2 URLs) Enjoy. -Brayton (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Great job, it has a lot of personality! It is very kangaroo-like. It does not appear to be heavily armed though, but maybe equipping it with huge rocket launchers, missile racks and a railgun would detract from the main theme. Can't help but wonder (...)   Re: Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Wow. That's really cool. I'd like to see it fight Adrian's turkey to the death. Really beautiful construction, too. The legs are my favorite, lots of schleim. I'm kind of disapointed that the pouch doesn't launch a mini Roomech though... Soren (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.mecha)
