  Initial building of 5571 trailer

Well I did a proof of concept layout tonight for the trailer for 5571 Monster Big Rig. Though I initially was looking to use 1x6 and 1x8 black bricks, 1x4's actually work very well and are much more common. If you have any black 1x4's for sale or (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Also sprach Terry K: : Someone mentioned that they were available in a Roboforce set, but I am not : sure which one. I don't think so ... I am complete in these, and I don't remember one ... although the 2154 Robomaster has a ton of 1x1 w/ one side (...) (26 years ago, 17-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(warning: topic drift, note followups) (...) Halfway within the realm of possibility: this would be a pretty good TLG sponsored contest/prize. Design the best new piece and they'll make it for you.   Re: Update on Virtual Plans

(...) Right. It was easier for my brain to set up a spreadsheet and try each combination of beam-length and stud-pitch than to work out which beams are the right length to make up the hypotenuse(sp?) of a pythagorean triangle. Note: actually, you (...) (26 years ago, 15-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Terry's Apache and black pieces (was Re: New Space Ship..)

I take pics of black models with both the flash on and off, at slightly different angles, and take WAY too many pics, then look at them on my laptop to decide which to keep, throwing out over half of (...) (...) True, this is because it makes a phytagorean trinagle, right, with 6-8-10 sides. (A multiple of 3-4-5.)
