well, its been ahwile since i last posted, but i was finally able to get pictures of my newest ship. introducing: her majesty's light frigate Scimitar. One of my first sculptures when I came out of my "dark ages" was a life-sized statue of Dogbert from the Dilbert comic strip. (...) You really don't *need* both sides actuated, but it allows one to raise the platform as well. Not really necessary, I suppose. I presume you mean two pistons ganged end-to-end. I'm also unsure how I could use a motor to tilt and raise at the same time, though I don't think that's a movement needed very often. I could (...) The gear are easily removable, I used technic friction pegs into technic plates with holes. The landing gear doors and rear gear also come off easily. I will be making a stand to display the model in flight. One thing I found out when I was trying (...) (21 years ago, 6-Oct-03, to lugnet.build)

(...) Yeah, it does somewhat. One thing that helps is not to pressurize the tank all the way. If there isn't much pressure it doesn't "jump" as much and helps keep increments small. (...) Oh, it works with TLC's technic stuff -- but yes, it does have the lump in the middle. But it wouldn't work in this case though because the 4x4 round brick attaches via an axle hole (crossed). A Tauntaun in minifig scale. He has a moveable tail, arms and mouth. A minifig can sit inside the Tauntaun's saddle. Hi Sven, (...) it's cute, but different from a real moose. Real moose are narrower and have longer legs, and the antlers are more on the sides.
