Well, I used to use www.tripod.com . They're pretty decent for a free server. They put an ad at the top(or you can pick to have pop ups), but I have never gotten a pop up and an embedded ad. Yes! to rebuild or build anew! I'm not sure! I think the later, we can always improve on past designs. Fact is I stole way to many parts from it and it was always to heavy. Perhaps a redesign in a years time. When I get all my Mechs back from (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.build)

I like it Steve. I really like the simplicity of the first version as well. The second version reminds me of something I've been working on for a new model: (URL) cylinders are a perfect fit.
