It's not shown in this sequence, but you can actually bend the brick hinges
down a bit, to get the 1x2 panels to slope downward.  It stays in place pretty
well, and is easy to re-attach when it does fall off.

Thanks for explaining this new building technique. It wasn't 2x2 tiles as I
thought so I guess I have to hurry up ordering white panels on Bricklink
before they are sold out.
