Oh my god. I'm away from Lugnet for a day and stuff like this appears. Truely odd. Aside from the humor factor this ship has a really great shape. I don't know about you guys but I am envious of everything Mark Sandlin posts. I am impressed by the use of the new Alpha Team cockpit pieces. Ever seen the little kit you can buy, it contains the nitinol wire and enough small bits to create a little hexapod. All you need is solder and an iron. Jeremy, As usual, I'm very impressed with your additions. The attention to detail, not only in the figures, but in the scenes borders on obsessive. MLCad and L3P+LGEO provided the core Lego parts, and the scenery effects -- rocket flare, landscape, sky, etc. -- were all added in using POVRay code (MegaPOV in some (...) The shape of the ground is a heightfield based on the pattern image type, and the texturing is accomplished using slope-dependent textures. The source for the scene can be found at (...) Just added several pics on brickshelf of a few new creations, and >cough cough hack hack< for those who know me for my ORIGINAL :o) creations in fire apparatus, I actually built a bus that has already been done by Jerome Teissier. Hey Mark, Yep. Got them Coming in as we discussed. I think it would be interesting to see if you're able to turn these into LEGO creations or approximate the Mechs. BTW.
